In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover study, 12 healthy adults received a single 150 mg oral dose, the same amount found in one Turrigen capsule.
Researchers observed statistically significant changes in neutrophil phagocytic activity and circulating CD3+ T-cell counts within two hours.
